Dieses Mikrofon liefert eine klare und transparente Klangqualität mit viel Headroom. Jahrelang war dies das bevorzugte Kopfbügelmikrofon für Sendeanstalten und Theater am Broadway sowie in vielen Auditorien und Hörsälen. Dies verdankt es seinem makellosen Klang und der Strapazierfähigkeit.

Die Kopfbügel-Konstruktion ist einzigartig. Der Mikrofongalgen kann vom Bügel gelöst und wahlweise links- oder rechtsseitig wieder angebracht werden. Die häufig problematische Feuchtigkeit im Theater spielt hier überhaupt keine Rolle. Dieses Mikrofon wurde mit Double-Vent Protection System und Drop-Stop im Mikrofongalgen konzipiert. Und auch die Werkstoffe im Mikrofon selbst sind wasserfest. Dank dieser Designelemente ist ein Ausfall des Mikrofons wegen Feuchtigkeit nahezu unmöglich.

Die Empfindlichkeit des Mikrofons beträgt 6 mV/Pa. Damit ist der Pegel der menschlichen Stimme auf die generelle Eingangsempfindlichkeit der meisten kabellosen Sender abgestimmt. Bei entsprechender Versorgung kann das Mikrofon sehr hohe Schalldruckpegel bis zu 144 dB SPL vor Übersteuerung verarbeiten.
